This week Portland buildings are serving as blank canvases for over a dozen murals painted by artists both local and from around the world. The public art project is the brainchild of the not-for-profit group, Forest for the Trees. The murals hope to promote public visual expression, collaboration and community engagement with contemporary art and the creative process. The week's worth of art will remain for several years and, ideally, support will continue for this amazing public art display. Check out this video of last year's collaborators and their creations.
